Sorry guys I didn't get an email saying someone commented and I forgot about you guys

I dunno if it was because of me... I do know no they will make sure they send you the correct turbo! The arms for the waste gate differ between models and apparently the 535 uses both arms. Pure originally sent me the wrong arm and I didn't notice when I installed so they had to resend another turbo and I had to reinstall.

On the plus side - I can swap a turbo on a 535 in just under 6 hours

My car is still running strong!

Then one day the turbo just blew. Again Pure was great and got a new one 2 day air'ed to me.
This is so so interesting to stumble across. This is pretty much exactly what I've been trying to figure out for months with my PS2. The highest output I can reach at lower RPM's is 19psi, and it falls on its face by 5k, tapering to ~11psi by redline... with 100% WGDC.

Any specifics about the actual failure mode, or a follow up from Pure on what went wrong? My car SHOULD be beast mode, but it just makes me sad instead.

Or, start looking seriously for an 8HP-90 which is used in the Dodge Hellcat, so (obviously) it can handle over 700 HP and over 740 lb ft.

I am not kidding, this is a consideration. We cannot make serious power with the stock 8HP45Z with it's anemic 340 hp limit.

Thoughts?
Why not the 8HP70Z?
