BMW changing specs on F10?

I Placed an order for 530i sport 2 days ago , but my dealer was told by BMW in the UK ,
" We are unable to give you a delivery date at this time. It looks as if there is going to be a specification update in the near future and we will not accept the order until it is released. we will keep you informed of any updates to the order process."

any ideas what this means?

Sounds like they're doing production crossover to the 2013 line... there's a few new changes - primarily with the NAV
