Thumbs up 2011 550i F10 vs Grand Cherokee SRT8 [video]

BMW 550i F10 vs. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

Quote:
The 550i is bone stock and with about 200 miles.

The Jeep has Diablo Predator Tune, Borla S-type exhaust, B Woody intake, and oil catch can.
Guess who wins?

Holy fuck! I just remind myself that the new 5er has a 420hp + V8 and things make a little more sense to me. I know how excellent BMW is with power delivery, as i barely struggle with the worlds best 2 liter engine in my 320i lol im still smoking subaru's with god knows what in their engine bays. BMW's specs are one thing on paper, but they bring that power to the wheels with excellence, no matter which model it is.

I drove the 550i at a BMW Ultimate Drive event. It takes off like a rocket. Crazy fast. The new M5 will be absolutely nuts if it has another 100-120 hp on top of the 550i yet.

Not too surprised. I have a tuned 335i that will do same thing to an SRT8, so go figure.

Only 200 miles on the 550? So much for the break-in period.
