535d or 550i
hi everyone
what would you choose between the two and why? i am coming from a 4 door m3 which i sold. guys that own a 550 is the power between an m and the 550 similar, better or worse. please help thanks a heap |

That's easy.
If MPG / fuel costs is no issue: 550i all the way! I don't know about SA but throughout europe the 550i is so expensive that an M5 should be considered as well. On the other hand, I own a 535d and an e92 M3. And in daily drive conditions there's no big difference in performance between the two. The diesel is pretty impressive.

Some early F10 models had steering problems in that it was not very communicative, but last March BMW changed the entire rack/motor/control assembly to that which is fitted to the F12, which has vastly improved both feedback and response. |
