Periodic strange mac handicap noise when I turn off car...

I have a 2011 F10 that has developed a noise when it's turned off. It's hard to describe the sound but it's definitely mechanical. It's happened once or twice while starting it as well. Doesn't seem to depend on whether the engine is hot or cold either.

It sounds like something is winding down. Mildly high pitched...

I know this isn't a ton of info but wondering if this is familiar to anyone?
