BMS Stage II F10 550

When Terry gets a Vehicle to do some logging we should have Stage II following.

What is actual HP increase with Stage 1?
Any known issues like over heating, messing up the computer system?
The Dinan upgrade is just to damn exspensive.

Just wondering how many 550i owners have installed the Burger tune and what the thoughts are?

been running it for 4000 miles now every day no issues what so ever the stage 1 is very mild tune so you will not cause the car to over heat or anything. you are looking at about 25WHP increase and about 30-40WTQ

Ok..Terry replied back saying.."it's something they'll be working on in the future.If he needs another car ,he'll contact me" So.. Sounds like S2 is still a ways out.. If I hear anything I' ll be sure to post..

Damn... I'm going to email him too now that in getting a '13 550xi. I used to do remote beta testing for him. Stage 2 would be amazing.

I predict some impressive numbers - this would open up things like custom tuning for DP/exhaust mods and integration with a meth kit, right?

Of course it would, same as BMW's. However some of us are less concerned about the warranty, or will be out of warranty soon.

If this puts up the numbers I think it will, will be a complete tune (i.e. not just a boost controller), and will be customizable for different bolt-ons, it could be a game changer.
