New: High Pressure Fuel Pump Recall?

Took my car on for service for the first time after the N63 CCP and my SA told me that there was a brand new recall out for both of the high pressure fuel pumps. Had my car all day yesterday and just got her back.

The car definitely runs better. That 'choppiness' in comfort mode that I felt from 0mph is now completely gone and the car is noticeably quicker. Left my BMS Stage 1 installed and no issues.

Looking at my invoice is campaign# 0013300200 for those who want to inquire with their local dealers.

Good luck!

I actually don't keep tabs on gas since she is not a daily driver. All I know is I fill up once every 2 weeks and that is from driving it hard 3-4 days a week...

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had this done.

What made them bring up the HPFP recall? Did you tell them of any specific symptoms your car was having ?

Nope. I went in because my idrive controller was acting up and he called me later that day and told me that there was a brand new recall that just came out for the hpfps...

I had mine in yesterday because another coil failed (BMS stage 2 likely culprit) and they replaced the high pressure fuel pump too. I thought that may have been part of the problem but if there's a recall that kind makes sense.
