From the ad it looks like one half of the grills is not open(vented), is that true?

I really didn't want to block airflow on one side, as the eBay fog grills seem to be half closed.

The eBay ones are half closed , I just picked up a pair. Going to try and Dremel them open and re spray them with trim paint
