Does the elimination of sports pack on 35i and 50i mean...

I was just wondering... does the elimination of the regular NON m Sport pack mean the rwd cars have the sports suspension standard?

The adaptive comfort- sport + can be ordered as an addtional package.

But what about the folks that like the old sport wheels on the 535i and 550i. Are they gone for ever? I happen to love the 35i's wheels. those 19s were beautiful. Sad to think in 13 the only sport is M sport.

Whats the general opinion? Even the 550i sport wheels and package were elegantly understated. For those who want sport, is M sport it?

I agree, I prefer the wheels that I got with the sport package offered for the 2011 in Canada over the M sport wheels. I also prefer the car without the M sport body kit. My sport package gave me the wheels, high gloss shadow line, anthracite headliner, and sports auto transmission (I would have preferred a manual, but it is NA with X-drive). However I don't remember if the suspension was different, I don't think it was, I don't think it was in Canada for M Sport either. I don't see too many 535s around with the same wheels that I have, but I do see lots of 535s an 550s with the M sport wheels. I like that mine is a little less common, even if just a little.

I don't ever think there was a "sports suspension" on the 535i. When I ordered my 2011 535i, I got the "Dynamic Handling Package" which included the Active Roll Stabilization. In 2012 I think that package went away... but now in 2013 the ZDH package shows up again on the ordering guide. So if you want the tightest suspension you can get in the U.S., you need to get the Dynamic Handling Package which is separate from the M-Sport package.

As for those 19" Sport wheels from before, the ordering guide still has them listed. Style 349 on code 2MZ. Looks like you have to get the Individual Package to get them, though. Maybe you can order them special... not sure.

Just checked the Canadian site and you can add those wheels for $1,000.
