2011 n55 oil temp gauge connection
I drive a 2011 535i just hit 100k
After noticing an oil leak on one of my pulleys I decided to change both the oil filter housing gasket and oil cooler gasket. I also did the serpentine belt while I was there. when I put everything back together my oil temp gauge was stuck on cold. I've been driving the car like this for about a week. sometimes 100 miles a day and the gauge is pegged on cold. I took everything apart this morning and went through everything all the connections are correct. i have tried to find a reference to the connection for the gauge but haven't found anything. can someone please point me in the right direction. |

the e90 post would also be more helpful, lots of assholes but alot of smart ppl there too. very likely you will find help there as long as you post in general section. my only real guess is that you broke a connection or something? |
