Is this the right place?

finally managed to unclip the sensors - WAPIA!! lost a screw as well as i thought it would be easier to unscrew the sensor on the charge pipe to unclip it, then putting it back I dropped one of the screws into the unknown!!

i think i must have the correct sensors, as i have driven the car now with the JB installed and no errors or engine lights warning me - fingers crossed it remains this way.

Sorted.

intake and JB in place.

not been for a proper test drive yet - tomorrow for that.
so far just to say the BMS intake sounds different with the bonnet open and engine idling compared to stock.
no noticeable difference just driving around town at 30 mph.

I actually think it's made the super sprint exhaust a bit quieter?

Could that be or have I just got used to the exhaust and it's been broken in now?

i managed to push it to 140 mph, before i pulled it back

previously i had managed 120 mph on the same stretch of road.

i cant really feel any massive notable difference yet. perhaps i was hoping for too much??

would be really interested to see the dyno figures, but no dyno available in my area

what i do like is when you floor the accelerator and hit the down shift paddle, boy does the car take off!!

On the sports display I had the torque up to 480nm, so JB must be doing some thing as stock max. Torque is 450nm on the hybrid.

I never noticed what the bhp was.

Definitely pulls quicker from 40 mph through to 100mph though.
I have ordered a M performance drive analyser, so once this arrives will see what is happening (hopefully)

Sounds like your first two sentences here is your Dyno result. That would be worth the mods to me. FWIW.

it feels like i need to drive faster, the speed limit round town in areas i live is 30 mph - and the car shoots to 30 mph so fast i'm always 'speeding' and have to slow down

cant wait to get the analyser, get a clear out of town straight bit of road and check some accelration tines - 0-60mph etc.

I got my bms intake used for 120 bucks, was defnitley worth it, I would lay the new price if I had to, you can feel a slight bump in power but you do get a noticeable sound improvement from the engine, a nice growl in low rpms, and not to mention that you can actually hear the turbos now. So all in all definitley worth it. Tbh when
comin down a street and nailing the throttle the sound the engine makes now is definitley head turning.

AWESOME! for the price it's not bad even at $199 but those AFE's run about $450...don't know if i could justify spending that much if the BMS is giving the same results

Its a very reasonable price even new! AFE definitley not worth the money, and I for one dont believe that their intake adds 30+ hp. The BMS is best bang for the buck, had it on since August, no issues and the engine sounds much more alive now. Go for it, you wont be dissapointed!
