Hello. I have a 528i Luxury 2018.
Problem is that my driver side rear fog light is turns on together with rear lights. After checking corrosion, terminals, etc. I realized that they worked properly (turn on when I pressed the fog light button), as long as I don’t have the bulb carrier assemble.
If I assemble the bulb carrier, to the main body it makes contact to this plastic ring with 2 terminals, as soon as touches that part, it turns on. A temporal solution I just put a tape so bulb carrier does not make contact with terminals, but it should not be like that. What is the function of those terminals and cables ? Is there some setting, or how can I fix it properly.?
