Best Exhaust for F10 N55
Hello All!
I'm new here and new to BMW in general. I'm in the process of getting a 2013 F10 N55 (535i M Sport Package) Looking for opinions on exhaust systems. From a sound perspective, what will give me the richest, deepest/throatiest sound? I'm coming from a SL55 AMG with the resonators deleted. I know the N55 is all together a different animal with different technology (3L Inline 6/Twin Power Turbo vs. 5.4L V8 w/Twin Screw Supercharger) but I'd like to get as close to the AMG sound as possible. Also, thinking of doing some other minor mods....ECU tune (Probably DINAN) and perhaps an intake (Probably Burger). I'd like to be mindful of the factory warranty as this car will be my daily driver. Would welcome thoughts on those as well. All the best... |

Eisemann and meisterschaft are a couple high end exhaust. There's plenty of YouTube clips posted. If you're going with Dinan u should be fine warranty wise.

I like GTHaus and Remus
As for the tune get the Jb stage 1 tune + Burger intake. Remove the tune before your visit takes (5-10 minutes) and you should be good

Depends if you are going for pure HP gains or want to retain a modest exhaust note. Dinan is costly, but uses the OEM vacuum flaps built into the stock mufflers to minimize noise when not WOT.
If you are looking for pure power and don't mind a very loud exhaust note, Remus, Meistercraft and others have been used by many other members on the forums. Some of the other exhausts also use the Vacuum lines to basically close off 2 of the 4 exhaust pipes and thus keeping drone to a minimum when not at WOT. |
