Great pics!
I've ordered the brushed alu trim with the M Sport interior and the "Instrumentkluster med utøket innhold" that you've got since i don't like the multifunctional display that much, it looks awesome in your car, can't wait til my car arrives week 10

Thanks.
I did use a prime lens, but not f/1.4, but the awesome Canon 135mm f/2. I guess you can get similar result with an 85mm f/1.2 or f/1.4.

Yes, the multifunctional display looks fancy, but I don't think it's any better in everyday use, in fact it has less info since there's no display under the speedometer and rev counter.

You're right about that and i actually like the old school rev and speed gauges.
Extended display is a win!

By the way which camera do you use, Canon D60?

I've got a Canon 6D, but the pics in this thread was shot some time ago with my old Canon 7D.

Both are great cameras and you sure know how to use them.
My Eos 600D is a bit more newbie, just like me when it comes to photography.

remmib - your F10 is one of the best, and your photos are always amazing. Would you be interested in posting some car photography tips / tricks for camera neophytes like me?

I am slowly figuring out the value of quality lenses, been playing with aperture and depth of field, and experimenting with my Canon 50mm F1.8 on a T2i.

Cheers.

I guess you can pick up some tips by google car photography guide or car photography 101.

But I give you some key tips I think is important.
Location - try to find an interesting location.

Background - try to avoid a busy and messy background. Try to find a simply backdrop like a wall, building or a nice scenery.

Composition - think about the angle you're shooting the car, also remember the rule of third.

Light - often overcast or close to sunset is a good time for shooting, especially a black car.
