Hey forum brothers! Just ordered my roof spoiler as myself and forum member Jet in Oz was interested in this spoiler out of all the other designs out there. I originally wanted the carbon fiber version but couldn't get myself to pay $350 for it but my painter said he would paint this for free along with the Msport skirts for free since he'll be painting my rear bumper. so when the roof spoiler arrives I'll post some impressions on quality and fitment prior to paint. To help others who maybe interested in this. I fell in love with this roof spoiler ever since I saw this picture! I also have the carbon fiber 3d spoiler on order as well so at least I know what the two will look like together!

Wow I love that roof spoiler! Better than the typical ones I see. I can't wait to see your car fully done. Definitely do a huge photo shoot!

Definitely will finally get a proper photoshoot but probably around summertime as i still have everything coming together as far as the roof spoiler yes! i like the looks of it maybe vinyl wrap it with carbon fiber...dunno? but for now it's going to be painted.

Just came in... here's a few pictures. Quality wise on point but won't be able to do a fit test until later on today. So far very impressed and glad I went with this design.

That looks exactly like I was hoping it would How's the construction - is it hollow or solid pressed? Is it flexible or likely to snap if it fell off?

it's hollow but it's not like it bends. pretty solid if you ask me! it is made out of abs plastic so it's pretty sturdy...not flimsy at all! packaged very well! two things we can do is either get it painted or wrap in carbon fiber vinyl which i'm toying with that idea? i'm really liking the middle contour i think it looks better than the picture i posted on the black car as this has a flair as you can see.

It's the middle contour that gives it atti-tood. Luv it . Your F10 is black so you can afford to go with painted body colour or carbon fibre wrap. If you go with CF then I would want the weave to be consistent with the other CF you have on the car otherwise it'll look a little naff. On mine, I'm focussed on clean lines so my body shop is waiting for me to send it over to get painted at the same time as installing the CF rear diffuser.

I am very interested in this but I think i'd have to have CF one to match the deck spoiler and front lip. Unless I had it wrapped I suppose?

here you go guys...it's temporarily installed and damn! i love it!! the minute i set it on the back glass i was like holy $hit! coming from the import scene i never liked the roof spoilers on the Integras and Hondas and i was like why but when i came onto the forums here and started seeing you guys with the 3d, ACS & Hamman roof spoilers i was like Wow! it actually flows with the body lines of the car! even without putting my Msport rear bumper and DTM diffuser/M5 side skirts with the carbon extensions this roof spoiler just adds character. i'm not sure how to explain it but it's funny that after i put my 21's i felt that wow...it looks good! but for some reason with this roof spoiler it took me to another level with how i feel about my car! i know...i'm being stoooopid but whatever the finish is actually matte black and it actually looks pretty good but i decided to wrap it with carbon fiber vinyl and if it looks tacky i'll have my guy paint it when he paints the rear bumper and side skirts.

ModBarg*** has the carbon fiber version for $350. i was really gonna go with this but found this on ebay and thought why not? i also wanted to match the other carbon fiber components but decided i wanted the roof line to flow together black on black! here's the link:

it flares up in the middle a little and that's why i mentioned that it seemed a bit more aggressive than the black car i posted in the beginning.

i would keep it colour matched to the car rather than CF wrap.
