BMW tires/rims parts etc on leased car
I'm going to pick up a 2013 Msport 550xi Black on Black in couple of weeks after the lease transfers. I will be the first time BMW owner. I need to know how does BMW deal with car modification on a lease contract? Will it ruin my warranty with them? Also where do people get their BMW's modified? I mean I see allot of people here changing rims and tires like no biggie.
Thanks |

Congrats.
Rims and tires generally will not affect your warranty. It's when you get in to mechanical changes like heavy suspension work or computer reprogramming. And it will only be an issue if your failure was caused by the modification. Where are you from? |

Just hold on to your stock wheels and tires, and you should be fine. Your warranty is not likely going to cover the new wheels and tires obviously, but the new wheels and tires should have their own warranty anyway.

What exactly happens when you breach your lease contract?
Let's say you slap on a jb4 tune, will the dealer void the warranty on their own car? Will they make you pay damage? Buy the car? |

I'm from Nu Jeruz. And yes twelve. I mean can I return the car modified to BMW or will I have to replace it back to the way I bought it from them? And VMR, I do have rims and tires insurance. Need to find out if how the warranty covers that.

Well, more than likely your warranty will not cover any aftermarket options, at least from what I've heard. Talk to your dealer about what exactly is or is not covered.
