I wouldn't be so sure to presume what organized criminals can and can't do to a car. BMW is known to have security problems with criminals in the UK using a $5.00 hand held device to access cars, then they access the OBD port to code a new key and drive off in the car. If they can do that, who knows what they can do after they get the car into their "shop".

Having said that, a records check with BMW might be a good place to start, looking for any unusual mileage gaps or a repair record with a higher mileage.

this is a little silly. it is very common for a recent model car to have low miles. check for service records, pull carfax (yes i know its not reliable) and have the car inspected by BMW if you are really concerned, but i seriously doubt they rolled it back.

mine has less than 10,000 miles. not everyone drives alot.

No sir, not yet :/. It's not that easy finding the perfect one. I did find one in PA but the weather sucks there. Hundreds of cars stuck on highways, schools shut down, ect. Waiting on the dealer to call me when weather clears up. Also my dad needs to be able to leave work for that day too. It's build date is Jan 2011.

And thanks everyone for your input!
