I have a set of 2014 LCI F10 taillights on my 2011 F10. The car is going back on lease next month so I'm looking to trade these for the stock pre-lci taillights plus $300.00

These retail for nearly $800 from the dealer, they are in MINT condition with zero cracks, scratches, or blemishes.

These are direct plug and play, no coding or modification necessary. I'll also install them for you if you're local.

Hit me up if you're interested.

I probably haven't spent enough time trying to decipher the two, but what are the main differences between the pre-LCI and LCI taillights?

The "bars" inside are more narrow and sharper looking. On the pre lci version the light bars are thicker. Theres a thread showing them side by side somewhere.

The reverse lights are also smaller on the lci lights.

I contacted Igor about these tail lights and was told to wait for when he has a set. I waited, when he finally had them he told me via text that they are 350.00 plus my set and if I wanted him to install them it would be 380.00.

I told him that I had 300.00 with me and was willing to meet him. He said that I would have to go to Brooklyn and they would be 350.00 NOT 300.00. We went back and forth the whole day via text about it being 300.00 and not 350.00.

Then I complained to him about being quoted 600.00!! for a simple brake caliper paint job and was told that it's priced way too low for the quality that they provide. I mentioned that there are some DIY guys here on Bimmerpost that have done a great job at painting their calipers and he said that their paint\job is inferior.

How do you post 300.00 installed and then try to charge 380.00 for them installed? Not honest or fair to me as a consumer. At the end I never got them since he wouldn't honor his own posted price.

I am starting to suspect that the wait time was used for me to forget about the posted price.

I don't mean to rant but I just want people to know what I have gone threw with Igor and Oneighty.

$380 is his installed price. I'm sure you could have got them for $300 like he posted picked up. Not sure what you're complaining about?

In regards to what he is charging for the caliper painting, that's his shops price. If there's a DIY then you should Do It Yourself and not pay what he's asking. The guy owns a business and needs to keep the lights on man. I'm sure you can appreciate that.

True Lacster. As far as those lights, he wanted 350.00 nothing else. I had my heart set on them. I even told him that I can take my own out no problem but he still wanted 350.00. My gripe is that the initial price was not honored.

im going to jump in on this.

$300 plus stocks is the asking price but yet he raised it to $350? find another shop n move on but i feel yah. time will take care of it.

as for the calipers, a lot of the DIY are just brush/spray and go. pro painting takes the entire caliper off. sand spray/strip/clean the calipers before painting. then spray and bake. 3 coats minimum with base/paint/clear and about 4 hrs of labor on all 4 and that's working fast. $400-$500 is fair price considering re-install and bleeding after. i've done both.

if you want to save cash. DIY and good cleaning, small brush. take your time and it will look as clean as the spray and bake. it's on my own to do list also as soon as I find a Brembo bronze paint. lol
