Free AR Design Downpipes

Talked with rep from AR Design today and he said they do not have downpipe for 535 yet. Only due to the fact nobody in CO will let them use their car for measurements. They said they would be willing to compensate vehicle owner. So come on members somebody in that area needs to step up and help the 535 community out.

Is this true Lacster? Seems far from OC, plus they told me they need the car for a few days.

Whats different on the F10 downpipes compared to the 3 series N55 cars? When i was underneath it looked pretty similar to me.

The RSI downpipe in my opinion sounds pretty bad. Gives the car that "ricer" feeling. Ive had it on my car for about a week and im taking it off tomorrow.....

Only around $800 now for 550. It won't be more for 535.

The brand of downpipe has little to no impact on the sound. It is due to the removal of the primary cats. The AR downpipe (if ever produced for the F10) will sound identical to RSI's. You should consider a custom catted setup or add some resonators to your exhaust system to clean up the rasp.

Re; pricing, I doubt AR's price will be all that different from RSI's price, ~$600. The performance, sound will be nearly identical so unless AR competes on price (<$600) I don't see any incentive.
