Anybody vinyl wrap their reflectors and the chrome on the door handle.
Would it be pretty difficult?

It depends on your skills. It is not difficult if you have done it before and if you are using high quality vinyl wrap-like 3M. You just need to take your time.

Nope. Good luck. And post pics when you are done.

This guy tinted his reflectors (and his rear lights!) on an early 2012 3-series.
I like the idea for the reflectors and am planning to have it done when I have some window tinting done. Not planning a DIY job however. Here's his original link: EVERYTHING TINTED |

I used Lamin-X film on my door handle chrome, 18 months ago and still going strong. DIY for about $20 and 30 minutes.

Blacked out BMW 550xi
Blacked out all trim (vinyl), color coded BMW markers, tinted turn signal markers, blacked out front spoiler trim...I think it turned out great! What do you think?

Bought some Plasti Dip yesterday, once it warms up I'll try spraying the fog light housing. Tint the fog lights? Any suggestions with what material and will they still be effective?

I used vinyl on mine. It's the same stuff they use to tint headlights and tail lights. They look black when the lights aren't on, but are functional when you need them to be.
