I am due to collect my 535D F10 M Sport next week. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on specific things to look out for when collecting the car, that is, any possible defects that have been noted on the new arrivals. My spec is: Carbon black, oyster/black, Media Package-BMW Professional, 19" alloys, sport-auto, Adaptive drive, Integral active steering, Reverse assist camera, windscreen with grey shade band, electric sunroof, sunblinds rear and rearside, folding ext. mirrors, Aluminium trim, Xenon headlights, adaptive headlights, surround view, TV function, 6 disc DVD changer, Rear seat entertainment, Sun protection glass. I know for example that some members have had difficulty getting the rear seat ent. to work properly. The thing is that I will be taking the car directly for the UK to my home in Spain and would prefer to notice any defects etc before leaving my UK dealers. Would appreciate any advice and promise to post photos asap.

Best advice, as always, would be to read the manual.
Cars like this generally speaking don't come with defects on delivery.

Just have a good look round it for scratches, check wheels for scuffs, and test all the functions within the car, and off you go.
Make sure the Sat-Nav has been encoded to use, I got mine and the code had not been put in, I got it next day, but still a bit inconvenient. Good luck you will enjoy this car for sure.

My Tool Kit was missing.so worth checking that. Maybe check that all those options are present and correct too! Have Fun

At least one guy on the forum did not get his manual so that is another good check.
I would also link and sync your phone at the dealers and make sure you can use the maximum functionality for your model of phone eg messages, calender etc.
