Got bored with my wheels

Got tired of the color of my Verde wheels (originally gunmetal) and wanted a different color so I dipped them with aluminum plastidip.

I like it. I personally like keeping the wheels silver on a black car. All black is too much for me.

Looks good. Do you have any more pics of the front? Curious what the concave is like on them.
Verde was one of my rim choices.

side-by-side shots + close ups so we can get a better feel for what you've accomplished. Looks great from here though.

Did you use a glossifier or was it just straight Bright Aluminum?

i prefer the gunmetal look but i see how you feel about changing it up! i've been thinking about dipping mine to matte black just to blackout everything...and than when i'm tired of that dip it to something else

Is that temporary or do you plan on going back to gun metal? Or maybe a different color?

If you get bored with the plastidip can you go back without damaging your original finish?

yep! it's just a temporary color change. but on wheels with small cracks and crevises i've read that's it's a pain. but on big panels not a big deal

Temporary for now. Thinking of getting new wheels for the Panda Junction show in October but I just picked up another project so might take a break from this one lol

Yeah that's the best thing about it. I've dipped my Honda Element like 4 different colors. They sell dip dissolver for those hard to reach places and it comes off easily.

that actually looks pretty good in gun metal. What color is your car, cant tell from the lighting, black or DG?

did you use a glossifier on top of the silver plasti dip?

beautiful combo, Def like both color setup. Thinking about going with verde as well, though I'm aiming for the 3D lip. Mind sharing where did you get the wheels?
