Mudflaps: do they come as standard?
Do I need to buy a set or does the vehicle come with one pre-installed?

Too sporty, really? Don't they help in protecting the car body from mud, gravel etc?

Meh, just an opinion ... mudflaps to me belong on pickup trucks and old peoples cars. Dare I say, too cautious, for a BMW!
To each his own, I have had many ideas for my BMW kicked around by this forum and all opinions help, take mine for what its worth and do what you like best of course. Hell, you may live in a rocky quarry for all I know.

Haha @ rocky quarry! No I don't but yeah maybe a bit too much caution, I guess. Maybe its because delivery is mid-April and its driving me nuts!

Although BMW's parts system does not have mudflaps listed for the m-sport, the regular ones do fit an m-sport perfectly.

Thats ok aceman, I just wanted to know if the new cars came pre-fitted with mudflaps and whether I would need to purchase them separately. I think the fact is that they do not come pre-installed and the general consensus seems to be the vehicle doesn't really need them.
