It depends on what settings you use, but at KW recommended settings the ride is firm and planted like a good sports car. The car carves through twisties like it's on rails without any floatiness you get with the softer OEM passive luxury sport suspension. I'm not knocking the OEM suspension, just calling out the difference. Back off from the factory settings and the ride can be as soft as you want, or tighten things up and enjoy a fun canyon run. It takes about 10 minutes to change the settings on all four corners (a bit slower than DHP )
My installer sets up race suspensions (he drives an M3), and said the KW's ride at factory settings is similar to the M5 suspension in sport mode (similar, but not equal). Of course you can set the ride height exactly where you want it, and the lower center of gravity certainly helps handling. Also, You'll want to dump the rock hard runflats.

Sounds interesting, I will definitely consider the upgrade once I make my final choice, im leaning towards 550i now since payment is a big factor. Give that both the 550i and the M3 will be roughly around the $80k mark means that the 550i should have better pricing because I can net atleast a $10k discount.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a custom interior done in Sakhir Orange color? Would it be possible to go through BMW individual?
