Enhanced Bluetooth
Hello
If I don't have enhanced bluetooth, can I still stream music -e.g. Spotify from Android or iPhone via BT and play music via the USB port from either a memory stick or phone? What does it provide as the BMW dealer does not seem that clear and the online reference is not helping. Thanks |

You need EBT to stream music and it also allows you to connect two phones simultaneously. You can just code it.

Depends on the age of the car, 2015 onwards streams music without EBT.

The USB port in the glovebox can be used for audio.

You can plug a USB drive in the USB port in the glove box or the centre console and use that to play music.
Don't think you can stream music using the USB cable of your phone. The Standard bluetooth just supports voice calls and does not stream music via bluetooth. |
