Who's 528 is getting the M Sport installed and a set of Breyton wheels in Hong Kong?

Hmm... M Front, Hamman back with quad exhaust. One sick car! Hope you are not sacrificing too much lowend torque!

Congrats man! Can't wait to see your car too!!!

Thinking about the quad exhaust too but worried about losing low end torque...that's something we don't have too much of already with the 528.

Bros, I don't have Breyton rims. Mlai's mentioned 528 shouldn't be mine.

On the topic, low end torque should not be sacrificed for the Hamann quad for the NA engine IMO since extensive R&D should have been conducted from these tuning companies. Wouldn't be sure for those custom made exhausts from local vendors.

I don't know...... I had quad exhaust by Tom's on my Vellfire for 2-days and I took them off. The Vellfire accelerated at snail pace from stand still and I had to rev to 3.5K rpm just to accelerate on the Tai Hang Road ramp. I can accelerate on the same ramp with 2.3K with standard exhaust....... At highway speed, definitely nice with the quad though.

Let me know how the quad goes on the F10..... You may need to look for chipping the F10 with the quad if you do a long of city driving/up hill......

PS. Even the 550i is not a full time quad exhaust......

your tom's has two muffler? For Hamann 528 it looks like this. Not a real quad. Hamann built by Supersprint and similar. Jxnco did a little research as below:

"That problem was solved by only allowing the muffler to have a single entry point just like the stock muffler, we then split the exhaust off from the muffler canister. Also, with the factory cats and piping diameter being utilized for the rest of the system, there will not be a substantial backpressure loss but instead an approximately calculated 6% decrease.

This particular setup was developed to give the aesthetically pleasing quad-tip look, a more aggressive tone that will not resonate back into the cabin, and a mild power increase of about 7hp and 3 ft-lb of torque."

I see. Should be ok then. The Tom's was dual pipes from mid-section so significant loss of backpressure. The Hamann ones are "fake" quads, I guess.....
