Before/After H&R spring install on my 535i

I installed my H&R springs on my 2013 535i Msport a week ago. Car looks much better but slightly disappointed with the drop. I did a before and after measurement. My after measurement I did 1 week after the spring install to allow them to settle. Front came down just about 1" and the rear came down 5/8". Much less of a drop then the advertised 1.4" F 1.3" R.

Measurements were taken from the ground to the bottom of the fender, using the center cap on the wheels to center it. Measurements were 27 5/8" on all 4 corners. After in the front is 26 7/8" and rear 27"

Here are the pics

It looks much better than original.
Msports have a lower stance than a standard 5,
so the drop will not be as substantial.

No matter what the numbers say, the drop makes a world of difference. Looks Great!

They are 18s. Reason being these are my snow wheels and tires. Didnt want to put snow tires on the factory 19s. I have a set of forgestar f14s waiting to go on when spring rolls around

How's the ride quality? Does it feel less "floaty"?

Ride quality is still as smooth as stock. Still has a "floaty" feeling but not as bad. It tightened up the suspension some but I wouldn't say "OMG its a night and day difference" I am still riding on 18" snow tires, so handling isnt optimal at the moment.

Should've measured from the center cap to the bottom of the fender, not from the ground to the fender. Now you brought tire pressure into the equation.

Stance looks good though.

Thanks! Have a few more parts to install, just waiting for it to warm up here in CT.

Tire pressure was identical, checked that before measuring both times.
