2014 535i X-DRIVE... Squared or Staggered wheels?

If I get the all season tires on the M-Sport 535i with the 19" style 351M wheels, will they be a staggered sizing or squared?

Thanks.

Does anyone know if a staggered set-up can be used with no problems? and supported by BMW?

Squared, and yes it's possible -- some have attempted that setup.

For my 2011 535i xDrive M Sport, I had the my dealer take of the squared set (OEM Style 351) and put on the staggered set that comes with the F10 M Sport RWD (OEM Style 351).

Original Configuration
front: 245/40/19 19x8.5 ET33
front: 245/40/19 19x8.5 ET33

Current Configuration
front: 245/40/19 19x8.5 ET33 (Diameter - 26.72 inches)
rear: 275/35/19 19x9.0 ET44 (Diameter - 26.58 inches)

I have had zero issues. The variance between diameter, which is an important consideration for xDrive vehicles is 0.5%.

Some wonder why the european F10 M Sport is fitted stock with staggered wheels while the U.S. cars are squared. My guess, as I have not been able to confirm this, is there are no All-Season (A/S) Run Flat Tires (RTF) available in the U.S.* for 275/35/19*. When I replace the tires that are on it now, I will switch to Michelin A/S Sport (non-RTF).

*Available at tirerack in 275/35/19 RTF: Max Performance Summer & Grand Touring Summer. There are no A/S RTF in this size, however for 245/40/19 there is a Good Year A/S tire available (OEM Tire).

I currently have the Bridgestone Turanza ER300 RFT. While I have not tested them in the snow, my guess is they will perform miserably in freezing conditions.

Hope this helps.

Yes, my summer set are 20" 343M M5 rims on Michelin PSS rubbers. These are a staggered setup and work without issue on my 550xi.
