MELLOWYELLOW06, yeah I think it looks very simple and elegant. I need to take a nice pic and post it up here.

Nice looking car, btw.

Oh boy, I'm pissed! I woke up this morning and 3 minutes away from the house, I got a warning about low air on my front left tire. So I stepped out to see what's wrong and my 2 week old Avant Garde M510 rim is bent. So now, I have to

(a) get it fixed somehow without damaging the custom gun metal finish (which I think is impossible)
(b) order a new replacement wheel and use the fixed wheel as a spare.

Aaaaargh!!

Wow, sorry to hear that!

What size wheel do you have? Did you even remember what caused the damage?

I have the 19" wheels. 8.5 front and 9.5. rear. My suspicion is that it was caused by a pot hole I may have hit but I'm having an incredibly hard time believing something like that could have caused it because it was a pot hole I hit at 5-10 miles an hour because I had just started the car(parked on the side of the street) and was just getting back on the street when this happened. Either way, I'm really worried about how dependable these wheels are right now. I called carid and almost ordered a replacement but a part of me is saying maybe I should re-think this whole thing because I'm pretty sure I'll hit pot holes going much faster than 10mph somewhere down the road. This is the first time I've bent a wheel since I started driving over 15 years ago.

Ok so here is another update on the AV M510 wheel that got bent. I took it to a shop and they fixed it literally in 5 minutes because they said it was super soft. It was so soft that I don't even think they had to heat it up and none of the powder coating was affected. While I'm glad that my car is back up and running, I'm troubled by this because I'm now wondering that I'm just another small pothole away from having my car out of commission. I have now started second guessing my decision to get these rims because the F10 may be just way too big of a car for these soft ass rims. So yeah knowing what I know now, I probably wouldn't pull the trigger on these.

I appreciate the feedback on your wheels. Sorry that you have had to go thorogj all this.

May I ask what tires you have on your car?

Don't remember the exact profile but I know they're Bridgestone Potenza. I can get back to you with the actual profile if that's what you mean.

Thanks. I was curious if you had 20s and run flats.

So sadly, I'm back on the market for a set of rims just one year after getting the Avante Garde M510s because after 2 bent rims and 2 cracked rims (total cost of fixing them around 450), I've decided I should probably stop getting them fixed since one of them will be back at the shop within a couple of months. So yeah, if I could do it all over again, I probably won't get the AV M510s because if you drive 15k miles or more like I do, you're looking at a substantial maintenance cost.

Aren't Avant Garde, Niche, Forgestar and VMR made in China also?
