Pics of Nappa Oyster interior?

I love how oyster looks in pictures but was disappointed when I finally saw it in person. Looks too yellow to me. I've only seen it on Dakota oyster but wondering if the color is alittle different with Nappa.

To me there's a huge difference between black Nappa and Dakota.

Please post pics if you have Nappa Oyster

Thanks
Alan

I kinda see what you're saying. Go sit/see a Venetian Beige interior and Oyster will look bright white in comparison.

My brother has Venetian so I never really noticed.

Hmm...Oyster looking yellow? Not in my car anyway. I have Dakota leather Oyster/black, the perfect combo. Venetian beige on the other hand really has a yellow tone to it.

Quite agree, I have Oyster/Black in my F10 and there's definitely not the slightest hint of yellow. Also I think Nappa looks cheaper than Dakota and more like vinyl as there's very little grain.
OP, are you certain it was Oyster you were looking at?

I've noticed that mine looks slightly different in daylight vs. night light... but never yellow. Maybe a hint of tan in direct sunlight.

Mine does not look yellow at all.

Sorry, not the world's best pic but pretty color representative.

And Nappa is SOOOO worth it.

Interestingly there is no yellow tone in Oyster. It actually has an almond beige tone (i.e. white with a brown tint).

If you look at Oyster samples in the dealership you will notice that brownish beige tint to the Oyster. you won't see any yellow.

However inside the car, the perception of the color is affected by the surrounding materials. e.g.

If you look at Oyster with light wood or with a space gray exterior, those things may trick you into thinking it is yellow.

If you look at Oyster in a white car, you will notice the almond beige color.

If you look at Oyster on a dark car or a car with anthracite wood, then you will notice it seems cream white.

Also the surrounding light affects it. Since I got my windows tinted with AirBlue, the Oyster seems slightly whiter because of the blue tint to the incoming light. If you look at Oyster in sunset light with no tint, it will reflect the yellow of the sunset.

However I can tell you there is no actual yellow tint to the color at all.

It might have been the dealer car I saw was dirty. In pictures it looks almost like a off white but the Dakota sample had a beige tone to it.

Does it stain super easy? Dakota seems harder maintain since the leather looks so much more grainy compared to nappa. I am extremely meticulous with my car and like to keep it literally showroom clean at all times.

Is it just me or is nappa whiter than Dakota? Part of me regrets not getting the upgrade but I'm not stressing myself over it! Haha

It's the same color, but the smooth surface reflects light better so it seems lighter.

The Nappa is for you. I am same way and my Oyster Nappa always looks immaculate.

Here's my Nappa Oyster Black. It's really not yellow looking. I think it's just the sunlight reflecting off the leather that makes it look yellow especially in the pics. http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=592122 Just scroll further down. I first ordered black interior but when I went to the dealership and saw Oyster Black I was hooked. It really is a nice combination. I have kids but they know the rules when there in the car.

I also have Oyster Nappa, and it's not yellow at all. The color is exactly the same as Dakato Oyster leather.

What are you guys using to keep oyster prestine? I am expecting our first baby and not sure if going with such a light interior a wise choice. I am also concerned with jeans permanently staining oyster...

Lexol and / or Leathique.

I have two kids. No staining, and no jeans staining. Sure, it takes a little more work, but it's not ridiculous.
