Thanks. That makes sense, maybe something along the lines of the numbers the N55 535i tune Dinan offers maxing out at 360hp/392 foot pounds of torque. It seems if Dinan is willing to warranty the powertrain with the ZF 8HP45 tranny at 392 foot pounds, then they're comfortable it can handle the torque.

PM me for pricing on the sport tune. We expect a little more than that given those are crank numbers.

We have not done testing with the flash and JB4 simultaneously, I wouldn't anticipate any problems from doing so but for peace of mind I would dyno the car and see what it's doing to evaluate if it's safe/practical.

I wonder about long term reliability of automatic ZF transmissions. I thought petrol F10's equipped with 8-speed ZP 8HP45 transmission which rated for 450 N-m (332 lb-ft), I'm sure there are factors of safety but still that's nearly 120 ft-lb over max rating...
I'm interested I this tune but I'm concerned about the long term impact on the transmission and other components as well.

This would be good for the Activehybrid 5, as the gear box is good for 750nm torque.
