LHD F10/11 might not get the M footrest because of less space, and you can get the normal alu trim with the m-sport package too.

That's beautiful! We love our 5-series wagon. I'd buy one again in a heartbeat. It's the perfect vehicle for me (actually an M5 wagon would be...

). Too bad these didn't sell in high enough numbers for North America. You know, they almost canceled the M3 project in the early 90's but decided to continue with much success. Maybe they can push and resurrect the wagon concept in NA? Love seeing all the wagons in Europe - makes so much sense... and now that they look cool too - they are a WIN in my books.

I believe I read somewhere here that the start/stop button with the extra button below it (as seen in the dark interior) has the ability to turn on/off the engine start/stop feature (the one that automatically stops the engine at a stop light).

Dear Sirs, import this wagon! I'm glad that X3's and X5's sell well, but you are sorely neglecting your base of BMW owners who want wagons! People like me who've had multiple wagons (E34, E39, E61, and E46) will buy this car. The 3 series is good, but with growing kids and a big dog, the F11 is the better car. Don't make me wander around Audi dealerships.

BMW has announced that Start/Stop will come with autos too. I was guessing for spring -11 but maybe this is a pre-production car.

we have the same start /stop system here in Belgium, only on the 520d manual.
