Squeaky noise from the engine is still present even after the belt tensioner assembly kit was replaced. Any Idea what could be causing this? This noise is even longer when the car is in motion. Any idea what could be causing this?

This is 2012 535i with 123k miles. This noise happens right before a misfire at idle. I recently replaced the oil to liquid moly 5w40. There is no check engine light. The indy that replaced the tensioner thought that was the cause of the noise and wanted to replace the valve cover as the solution to the misfire. That did not add up for me. Any one seen something similar before? maybe turbo diverter valve gone bad?

Does the noise go away when you remove your oil filler cap? If so, it's the valve cover.
