It looks like a waste of money. The power gain is very brief, then the gains are minimal through the rest of the range.
If you're going piggy, stick with the burger tune

You're right! looks like only in the 2500-3500 rpm range you gain 40hp and the rest around 10. However when I asked ********** about the reliability AFE was number one burger tune was not as reliable according to the rep. Anyhow, I am still researching both and the issues discovered by some guys here with burger tuning are making me lean towards AFE. Not eady to pull the triger though yet..... still hoping for Dinan...

The only reason you are not seeing any issues with the AFE is because no one is using it. Less users give you a minimal market base to bring up issues

If you look at the tune it only plugs into 2 sensors vs the 4 that the burger tune does. So that tells you its not controlling as much and relying on the stock ECU to make up the difference.
So with that said if it were between AFE or Burger id go with the Burger tune hands down.

I've ran the jb n55 tune since 1200miles and the only problem I've had is that I visit the gas station a bit too often..

Oh and my foot got heavier.

How many miles you have now? What state are you in? Cold start/any problem?
Thanks

I would be skeptical about AFE's claims. Not too long ago they came out claiming their N54 intake made some absurd HP gain of 20-30 when in fact some users were reporting a loss of power.

AFE doesn't do ecu tunes so I doubt they actually created this. I am willing to bet this is a rebadged product developed by someone else.
