question about suspension

somewhat noob question but i searched.

F10 5 series with M sport package, the standard suspension is M sport suspension. Is this M sport suspension the same as passive M sport suspension? I don't even know what passive means and why some people call it passive M suspension.....
If the passive M suspension different than Msport suspension, how could some cars have it?

second, if you select adaptive drive instead of M sport suspension, can this be called adaptive suspension?

Lastly, there is active suspension.... is this active suspension standard on all 5series without Msport package?

what kind of suspension does a 528i Msport come with?

i am all confused.. please help.

Passive m-sport suspension has regular springs and dampers, no adaptive drive or dynamic damper control.
