So I have an AC Schnitzer exhaust, however I still don't think its loud enough for me. I am planning to install some catless dp's soon, however I am wanting to just add some extra throat to my exhaust sound.

There is a lot of posts talking about there being a center muffler and two resonators, but some claim there is three, and I'm just confused as to what they actually are. I would like to replace all 3 with 4 straight pipes instead of 2 straight pipes and one x pipe.... wondering if anyone has attempted to try it and how it turned out for them. I have seen several videos of people attempting these, some sound amazing but some still sound stock... and it is very difficult as many just post their video as a muffler or a resonator delete with little info. If anyone has links to audio clips would be greatly appreciated!

You have 2 secondary cats on the front exhaust and 2 resonators in the center exhaust.

Has anyone opened up the rear muffler on an F10 550i and taken pictures of it?

I'm looking for the internal diagrams, pictures, etc. because I want to cut a small hole, pull out some fiberglass, and weld the small hole (triangle made with an angle grinder) back afterwards.

I did this on my 2007 335i, and it sounded great and was cheap. I'm just looking for others who have or want to modify the stock exhaust. Exhaust on a major budget!

I just went to a local muffler shop and removed the center muffler and two resonators... holy fuck is it loud

It was on a budget as it cost me $200cad, about an hour and a half. However I plan to get a downpipe as well so I may put back the resonators
