Coding in paddle shifters and SAT
I had this done on my car a while back when I installed a steering wheel with paddle shifters (my car didn't come with it).
Car had some problems and the dealer reset it to factory which erased all coding. The person also coded in SAT which enabled sport+. My car DME is unlocked and I can access all info via OBD port. I also have a ENET cable to hook up to laptop. How hard is this to re-code on?

Also... when coding should my engine be on or just the power? Or everything off?

Not hard to re-code, and engine on to ensure a steady power source during the process. There are some really good cheat sheets and guides regarding the coding steps here:
