Anyone with H&R or after market sway bars noticed squeaking noise?

I just got Eibach sway bars (front and back) and after two days of driving it started making noise. The shop confirmed the sound is coming from the sway bars.

I reviewed the H&R sway bars and bushing and they claim they have a special bushing that prevents them from making any squeaking noise.

Is it work taking out and buying H&R instead of Eibach. I'm not liking the noise i did not have with the factory bars.

I have H&R rear sway with their no-squeak bushings on my F10. The first couple drives made a little noise and I'm guessing they were still settling in, but so far I do not notice any more noise and I've had it for about a couple months.

Make sure the sway bars are centered correctly and all bolts are torqued properly. If the noise comes from bushings, apply lubricant which will not damage bushings from chemical reaction.

The shop double checked and it was lubed. I found a few more threads complaining about squeaking Eibach bars. I did also call their tech support and their rep said it's possible and they don't have a fix for it. That's just the way it is and I did not like that answer.

I have H&R swaybars and I do not have any sound. I hope you find a fix.

did you end up using any type of lube on the bushing before installing them? or you installed as-is?

I'm thinking maybe the lube the shop used on the outside of the bushing might be causing the noise. I think they probably should have only used lube on the inside of the bushing (the part that wraps around the sway bar) only.

Sorry got it installed by a shop so I do not know if they did put anything on.

I'd check the bushings on the sway bar and the sway bar end links (other end of the end links). If its not binding up, then just lube and drive for a week.

I have H&R sway bars and installed them as is. The H&R bushings are urethane/Teflon composite so they say no lubrication is necessary. But I'm getting a squeak when going up driveways or hitting bumps at slow speed.

I'm fairly certain it is the sway bar because I sprayed some PTFE lubricant spray on the bushings and the noise was gone for a few days but came back. I don't want to have to take the sway bars apart again. Would lithium grease work with these?

Get some silicone grease, pop off the mounts/bushings, lube them up and put back.

Had similar issue with my H&R on my G37S. I had lubed them, but not enough. Even had grease zerts and pumped more in till squirted out the sides, but did not solve the issue. After manually redoing them no more squeaks.

At least he did his research, right? Otherwise he might get flamed for posting repetitive questions

Hey guys are there notieceable improvements with the H&R or eibach sways over standard msport?

I have a well sorted E9X chassis with all the fruit for my weekend car and whilst I want a comfortable daily driver F10, I'd like to improve the handling and replace 100k kay shocks with some ST X coilovers figured might as well chuck in some stiffer sways if they're worthwhile

If you like the feel of a sportier set up then yes, I would do them. If you are old and don't want to "ruin ride quality" then no, don't. IMO it is easy nicer over stock.
