M5 downpipes on 550i N63TU

Does anyone know if this will fit? I'm planning on going into the shop later today and put my buddies downpipes on my car...
Should this be a problem?

Is there a benefit to actually using them vs regular 550? are you going to use the M5 exhaust so it will properly bolt up?

I highly dought it will fit.
If you really want to know the answer call evolution racewerks and ask them.

They have a dp for the 550i and made one for the m5, so they would know.

Cost to fab them to fit and zero performance gains by the looks of them. Cats look identical to the 550's.

Likely a problem. I have full m5 exhaust including catted down pipes. The catted down pipes are larger and will bolt up, but you need the 3" exhaust from cat back for their to be any gains. It will just bottle neck on you at the 2 3/4"

The M5 catted down pipes are noticeably larger in diameter and require some customization to fit.

M5 down pipes do fit the N63tu. I'm running oem M5 dps on my car currently and they bolted up with minimal modification to one of the brackets on the M5 dp to clear the firewall. There is a thread on this forum that shows the step by step instructions to make them fit.

So if you look up on realoem, the part number for the Xi and i are the same for the downpipes. That makes me certain that the M5 downpipes should be a direct fit too
