Rear Sunshade blues
Anyone having rear sunshade issues?
Mine goes up but needs some manual intervention to bring it down! Found a few links and videos onlne showing the E39 model fix. the little tabs break, but mine seem in tact. Tried to lube it, didn't help. |

I never had any issues, before or after tinting. But, I have seen plenty of posts where others had problems with them being stuck up or down.
The only time I am glad I do not have mechanical side screens is when I read another post of someone with screen troubles. Good luck. |

Do you put it up and down a lot? Mine is pretty much up all the time, so no issues yet.

I've always just kept it up. Need to tint soon though so it'll be the first time I put them down since I got the car 2-3 weeks ago.
Only thing I wish was that it would automatically go down whenever I have the car in reverse. That feature was nice on my previous GS350.

I pretty much keep mine up and have additional ones on side windows for both front and back. I have 30% tint as well. The only time I usually put mine down is for backing up at night when there is very minimal exterior lighting.
