Cool Some new and some old. In the final stages of modding.

Hey fellas,

I got my car not even a year ago and I am almost done with it. I am modding it to an OEM + spec but I am having some trouble deciding if i should leave the front M-Sport bumper alone or if i should do the OEM carbon fiber lip. Not sure. I do however have all of the other parts carbon fiber.

Should I just install the OEM carbon fiber lip spoiler or leave it as is?

These following pictures I got from the EAS website. I am using them to illustrate the front lip spoiler.

This is how my car would look like someway with the lip spoiler.

Let me know what you guys think.

I think the carbon lip would look really good.

Also: have you thought about springs? Your car a bit lower would look nice.

For the drop I am considering ACS or H&R.

I have seen clear reflectors? Instead of getting them painted I thought maybe these can hide the ugly yellow.

Like you, I also have an AW MSport and am going with an OEM+ theme. I have been considering a front lip as well, but can't decide which would suit my car best. If it helps any, here are a few shots of my car with ACS springs installed.

Bake, in the second pic looks like you have a lip installed. Do you have a front shot?

No lip, I just wrapped the outer edges of my bumper with black vinyl. Kind of gives you the effect of having black splitters without making the front of the car any lower. Here are some front shots.

Perfect. To be honest, maybe even better than stock. Best way to describe it is Comfort mode now feels like what used to be Normal. Normal feels like what used to be Sport. Sport feels like Sport+. And Sport+ gets the suspension closer to where it needs to be for spirited jaunts on your favorite back roads. If you are not looking for an extreme drop, ACS is a good choice. H&R will give you a bit more drop if that is what you are after.

Current look. I am still on the fence about the 3D design li or the OEM lip. I might just leave it alone.

Let me know!

After so much back and forth I decided to install the OEM M-Sport Carbon Fiber splitter. Here is a little before and after shots. If possible, I will post a video of how the splitter looks.

From still shots you really can't see how it looks. Once I installed it, WOW it makes the car look meaner.

No, just the M-Sport. However, there are other aftermarket splitters out there. Check this page.
