Just ordered my 2012 535xi today! My first Beemer!

Still undecided on paint tho... Have about a week to change my mind haha looking at imperial blue and sophisto! Any thoughts???

This is going to be a long long long wait.... Any way I can remedy this?? Hahaha

Congrats! Colors are a very personal thing - go to a dealership or two and look for yourself. Personally I don't like blue cars ;-)

my bad on the wrong use of the word, i actually checked online and found that beemer = motor bikes while bimmer = cars! haha

I actually think it might be in my best interest to stay away from the forums because it'll just make me more impatient!

I just can't decide between the two colors.. something about imperial being offered on the new 3er kinda turns me off but love it when i see it out in the sun. as for sophisto, i just have reservations with the b90 paint, seems to not have the same pigmentation as the a90 upon close inspection..

I had similar color anxiety when I ordered mine...was worried about the B90, which is what I went with. I am relieved that I love it and it looks great. The F10 looks great in most of the colors, so ur basically in a no lose situation...let the waiting begin!

Personally I would choose A colour you like that isn't the first choice of everyone else. Here in the midlands of England every second 5 series seems to be sophisto grey. It's very nice but it's everywhere.

I like both colors equally that's why it's been difficult to choose haha they both have their pros and cons to them so i have to weight them out...

well in the end i went for what i ordered (imperial blue), it just really bothers my dad and i that it will be on the new 3 series... but the fact that b90 lacks the same sparkle and shimmer of the a90 made me decide to not change the order!
