New Member Saying Hi
Allow myself to introduce, err... myself.
Just picked up a new F10 last month so I began poking around the various forums. I seem to keep coming back to this one, so I figured I'd say hello and introduce myself. I'm a pretty big car buff... I do all of my own mechanical work and mods but have spent most of my life working on VW's & Audis (thus the screen name). About 3 years ago I decided my poor vdubs weren't reliable enough for me so I picked up a Lexus IS350 which was the first brand new car I ever owned. After a couple years I realized I should never have strayed from German engineering so last month I decided to step up to a 5 Series. I couldn't be happier. She's a 535i, Midnight Blue w/Oyster. Premium1, Premium2, Cold Wthr, Sports Pkg, and Sports Auto Trans. I really wish I could have gotten HUD & Active Cruise, but alas there is only so much money in the bank account each month. Here are some quick pics I took, along with a shot of one of my VWs for variety. Here's to looking forward to a few years of good F10 conversations. Cheers everyone and thanks for looking! |

I love the rims you have, one of the best you can get on the new 5-series.
Great interior as well. Congrats. |

Thanks for the replies! I'm pretty stoked about the car.

The 5 Series on the other hand is like looking at a sculpture every time I open the door to my garage. And my only two nitpicks driving it are I feel it needs a true LSD and I think the suspension has too much pop/bounce when hitting road bumps. But that may be the heavy runflats or maybe it will get better as the car breaks in. I don't know... |
