to be honest ....this car now looks weird.... this car is very hard to like even with those big wheels and big pipes and M package and some seriously nice color.....

seeing this with that stupid color , small wheels and ridiculously small tailpipes on one side which is totally off and stupid and on the other hand it looks non simetric too...
from 7/10 to 3/10....

Chevy tried this a few years ago with the Malibu Maxx. Didn't work for them, and it won't work for BMW. What are they thinking?!?

This is the new 5er wagon, if you don't like wagons, don't look.

I've always had a wagon fetish, my DD is a Mazda Protoge5, I hope we see some type of M version of these. Just as they have a M5 wagon now in some countries...
It's not a wagon, it's a POS...sorry, PAS

The donks driving the 5 GT may not even realize their car and mine were built by the same company.

being so cocky over a 325i driver while driving a E46 330i?

Your DD is a Mazda,so what is the 330i?
Your track weapon?

come down from your high ross...

This car is pretty hideous to most of us..and why?Because it is NOT a BMW
As well as a Cayenne is no real Porsche...

all these additional models/series are complete BS and have not much in common with what BMW stands for.

Just leave it at the 1,3,5,6,7 Series, the X and Z and refine them from time to time...

There are always going to be people who hate the design direction, no matter which way it goes. Can't please everyone. I happen to think the new designs are beautiful. Didn't like the design of the original X5, hate this 5 GT, love my e60, love the new X5. Didn't really like the outgoing 7er, but love the new design. There is a toilet for every butt. Not everyone has to like the new direction. But consumer testing says that enough people do. That's why there are other car companies, for those that don't like it.

It may be a good design or a horrible design. What seems pointless is the concept behind this.

Let the X3, X5 and X6 take care of the crowd who want to haul more crap in their automobiles. And if needed, bring the 5er wagon to the States. The previous generation (not current) 5er wagon was really pretty!
Nissan Versa? Toyota has the Venza. Big difference.

I think if we see this car in person, it might look better.... I won't write it off until I see the real thing...

I don't like the design direction BMW is going... They seem to have really let the designers loose. For me, there is one measure I use to judge a BMW design: "would Darth Vader drive it?". This thing.... Darth Vader would probably buy it just to throw it at the designer.. while it is a rather interesting concept, I think should have remained a concept. Perhaps incorporate the idea of the rear hatch arrangement into a series car... like have a coupe that looks exactly like a normal coupe, but is able to open the rear the way this PAS can....

Still, I'm glad BMW is trying new things... you cannot get stagnant and hope to survive...

Quite possibly the ugliest vehicle I have seen in recent memory. If the new 5 series has this front end it's just sad. The headlights are gorgeous and the interior practical but the overall look is embarrassing...my .02....

I did...and some black tape over the BMW badges won`t make too much of a difference to the complete unveiled car.
I`m no test mule hunter, but if you live in Munich you run into these test cars very often.
It is the the chassis that is so ugly...it`s not high like a X-car,but also not low like a 5 Series or 3 Series..
Some people might like it and see the practical use for such a car,but I don`t.
The only good thing is that it is quite roomy...one time I saw 4 people in that car and the passengers had much head clearance while the where not driving in a Van,but in this crossover thing we`re talking about right now

But well,we`ll see...
I hope they make some money with it and can contribute some of it to the development of even better cars for us

This thing is Disgusting! Why can't BMW bring the 335it to the states. I would trade my coupe in the blink of an eye for the 335it. My local BMW store told me there is no market in the States for a 335it or a 550it; but i guess there is a market for fugly BMW's. This thing looks like a new 7 and a aztek went to bed together. Did they let Pontiac name this one?
