F10 parking sensor pushed in
Hi all,
So I have hit a Pheasant at approx 80Mph but it has caused some minor damage. It has pushed the front sensor in to the bumper and the sensor is one to the right of the number plate. I can see in through the hole but how do I get it fixed back in as it still works. I have included a picture below. Any help would be really appreciated. https://onedrive.live.com/#cid=D8A4A...B1%2122572&v=3 |

I had the same problem, only mine was caused by reversing into a snow bank. After removing some panels under the car, I was able to reach up inside and push the sensor back into the mount attached to the bumper. It just clicked back into place. There is a rubber gasket that fits around the sensor (the black ring you can see around the sensor), hopefully yours isn't lost, mine was hanging off the hole and I was able to refit it.

Hi AVIMAX
Thank you - I can still feel the rubber part so that is good news. Did you have any pictures of the parts removed? I am useless at this sort of stuff so just wondering if this really is something I can do myself? Thanks |
