Simple...r u running an aftermarket M5 bumper? What's the difference? It's a product for an M5 front bumper...whether it's OEM or aftermarket? U said it's wider? What's next?

I have another idea in mind but in reality I may just give up until a company makes a legit lip for the M5 replica bumpers. |

I believe the ONLY things that will fit are the Hamann ($1000+) and the Kelleners ($700+) both mount from the bottom of the bumper and both made from fiberglass... not worth it imho....

I see RW carbon are now stocking CF side skirt extensions for the F10.
$900.

The side lip I did a dry fitting on it and it looks good however the extension hits the jack point (which is supposed to) and sticks out too much for MY liking. I'm going to cut a couple of crescents around the jack points and do a custom install.
I will have pics as soon as I get it all together. Last edited by Simple5; 06-29-2015 at 04:57 AM.. |

So I am going to give this a shot. Its a Kerscher style PU splitter. The dimensions will fit the m5 replica bumper so heres hoping. Got it in today but I need help installing. A dry fit looks promising...

I have an f10 and yes, these are designed for E-series models but if this works out it can be an option for those with the m5 replica bumpers... |

So I propped up the splitter with a dryer sheet box and put the ends on a couple of paper towel rolls.. this way I could move the splitter from side to side to line things up. Note the arrows I drew, this is probably where I want it when I go to mount.
Please note that the splitter is about 1-2 inches away from the bottom of the bumper itself... the things I propped it up with wasn't high enough. Been in the middle of a bathroom remodel so I have very limited time for the car as of right now. I haven't even washed her for the past month... |
