Wiper blades
I am about to have a replacement windscreen fitted to my 2013 F10. It's a genuine BMW screen through a local BMW approved bodyshop.
My question is after 50k miles the wiper blades look and function ok, but should I replace them? If so genuine BMW blades or a set of Bosch from Halford's? |

A new screen wouldn't ordinarily be a reason to change wiper blades. That said, they've done pretty well if they have lasted that long.
There are as many opinions about which wiper blades to get on here as there are on tyres. I'm minded to say if you can get 50k out of a set of OEM blades, why not go for more of the same? Some BMW dealers discount for forum members. I've found Bosch OK in the past, not as good as OEM but better than Valeo. |

Bought a Valeo thinking they were the BMW oem.. it seems not.
Bought it in December, worked fine for about 3 months.. now starting to leave lines on water.. |

If you are going to buy Bosch you can get them a lot cheaper than Halfords. Eg. http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/bmw-5-s...-wiper-blades/
