I am based in Northampton mate. How much would it be? And afterwards would it be easy for dealers to update it?

It can be coded so it shows as a menu item in idrive. However, the individual details of the service itself need to be done by a dealer I believe as they need to log into the central workshop database.

He's wrong. I previously assumed he was right as my father has a September 2013 LCI 520d which has a paper service book and no service history in iDrive. However it has just returned from it's first brake fluid service and randomly the service history - complete and correct from the very first service - now appears in iDrive.

It wasn't specifically requested, it just... came back with it.
