Why no 2014 LCI F10 M Sport Exterior Photos?

Unless I'm missing something, I'm thinking the complete absence of 2014 LCI F10 M sport vehicle exterior photos, on the internet, may indicate minor or no change, other than perhaps front & rear light treatment. I'm still curious as to why photos haven't been disseminated.

It's confirmed that the 2014 will get new headlights and tail lights. The cosmetic are minor and unnoticeable to the untrained BMW eyes. However, there is an optional full LED headlights which should be nice on a 5.

Is the 2014 getting the 6WB cluster inside?

Look at page 17 in the pdf of the LCI pricelist from bmw.de.

http://www.bmw.de/de/neufahrzeuge/5e...limousine.html

Looks like there'll be an M on the front side fender.

Looks like the M-Sport does NOT have the front character line at the headlights that the other LCIs have. Is that correct?

Correct. Front/rear of LCI M-sport is unchanged, save for the lights.

Apparently that might not make it to U.S cars. Crazy to think that BMW is actually badging the M Sport cars externally now. Basically an M Sport driver has every reason to consider their car a "true M" at this point, based on how BMW themselves practically promote it.

With the side indicator moved to the mirrors, I was hoping for a clean front fender, but now it's more crap there than ever.

I wonder why the M-sport doesn't get the slight updates around the headlights? Could it be the German brochure is using an old picture? Not a big deal, but it seems like it would be consistent across the LCIs.

The M5 doesn't get it either.

Too expensive to retest the already-optimized aerodynamics.

Yet the GT M-sport is updated. I think they don't want to anger all those M5 owners who just got their cars by changing it so quickly.

Yeah, but the GT was getting a front-to-back overhaul, regardless.

It's the aero.

The GT is a very poorly regarded design, therefore its facelift was more an "about face" while the F10's very well regarded design didn't want anything drastic.

SamS, do you know if the M Sport at least gets the side indicator lights integrated into the exterior mirrors?

Yes. However, the 2014 M5 does not get the new mirror-integrated turn signals.
