Comfort access question
My wife keeps her key in her purse and normally goes to the garage before me to help my daughter get in her booster. With the key in my pocket the seats seem to always be something other than my adjustment even though it is set to my settings when I start the car (my 8 presets for phone, radio, ETC). This was not such an issue on three previous BMWs with comfort access.

Since your wife goes to the car first and has her set of keys with her with her preferences, then when she opens the door to the car everything becomes adjusted to her preferences. We noticed this when we first picked up our new F10 in 2011 and the sales person tried to set the preferences to my key and then to my wife's key. As long as both sets of keys were in the car, it was impossible to do this. The other set had to be physically moved a distance from the car.

My wife and I run into this, too. I went into the "Profiles" section of the menu and set up both of our preferences and named them. Now, even if the car is confused as to whom it should be set for, I select the correct profile and all is right again.
